Taking Jesus to the World- Part 2

image

The whole message of Christianity entails taking Jesus to the world.

Have we ever wondered what it actually means to take Jesus to the world?

Has the book of Matthew 28:18-20 become so familiar, that it’s limited only to preaching the Word with our mouth?

Taking Jesus to the world- what does this mean?

‘To take something’ means to ‘carry’ that thing- if you are carrying or picking up something; it means it wasn’t in your hand before and must have been somewhere else. Our  ability to carry implies we also have the ability to leave it- it is a choice. We can decide to take Jesus to the world and likewise decide not to take Him to the world.
Are there places we take Jesus to and places we don’t?

In a worldly setup- take relationship for instance, there is no way in hell’s way that you would ever take your side chick as a man to meet your wife unless you wanted to replace the equation- but untill then…
So it is with the concept of Jesus- are there people or places you feel your association with Jesus is a risk- a temptation- an embarrassment? Or worse, is wrong?
Is Jesusjust a ‘side chick’ to us?

In the bid to try and ‘feel among’ with the ‘big boys, big girls, fashionistas, those current and trending’ etc., we forget to take Jesus along…

Are we justified by our sunday and worship days ministration to people who have come to see Christ, so much so that we think our great commission to ‘go and make desciples to all nations’ (not just those that come to church) no longer  count on other days And moments?

Give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what’s God’s and so like a radio station playing random songs ( including music that do not glorify God) to make ‘ends meet’ as a business, from Sunday afternoon to Saturday midnight- turning all gospel and spiritual on sunday mornings; only to return to their Caesar 12:00pm that same sunday- Because we too only belong to Jesus in part, we only share and show Jesus when its the custom- ignoring Him when it comes to profit and the’ business of the day’
Cuz let’s face it- ‘Jesus is bad for business’, ‘Jesus puts us in a box’ (I really wipe because these statements were made by christians- can we ever be so creative that we become more creative than the one that created us? )

I recall a moment in time when Jesus in all authority declared ‘His glory He will share with no one’…

What does it mean to take Jesus to the World?
How do we even take Him to the world?
We cannot give what we do not have
We cannot take Jesus to the world if we’ve not got Him

I hear you say ‘I’ve got Jesus’- where then did you drop him?
Where are you hiding Him?
Where are you taking Him to?
Where is Jesus suppose to be- be in your life?

‘Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears me and opens the door, I’ll enter and dine with him’…

Which part of us is God still knocking at?
What parts of our life and associations is God still locked out from?
‘Let us make man in OUR image and after OUR Likeness’

‘Your body is the temple of the Most High God’
‘No longer I but Christ that lives I me’

As a christian, there shouldn’t be a difference between you and Him- for we house and reflect Him. His perfection, His way of life is what we are all trying to reach, so in other to get the same results as Christ, we must not be found different from Him. We are ‘ambassadors of Christ’- when people see us, they should be able to see a perspective of Jesus in us. This implies that where ever we take ourselves, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE JESUS THERE TOO.
This truth will only make sence if we are conscious and accept the fact that we are created in the Image of  Christ to represent Him here on earth.

Taking Jesus to the world means we are aware of who we carry on the inside and are willing to let the world know so evidently with our lives everywhere we find ourselves with whosoever we find ourselves.

When last did you take Jesus to the world?
It’s so simple-
Be who you are- whom He created you to be,
and they will see Jesus in YOU!!!

1st Corinthians 6:19, Genesis1:26-27

Don’t You Dare!

BEBEJOfotography 08067598331

‘Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it…. there is only one Law-giver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you- who are you to judge your neighbour?’ – James 4:11-12.

Don’t You Dare!

Don’t you dare judge me;
you’ve no idea what I’ve been through.
Don’t you dare judge me;
you have no idea who I would become
to conclude on my present.
Don’t you dare,
don’t you dare judge me…

This stigma has eaten us deep enough. People need to stop feeling better than us even if they think they are. We all need to stop intimidating others by reason of the grace (through Christ) that we’ve attained; this grace that others do not have the knowledge of yet. Without complete knowledge or absolute understanding- they need to stop condemning me, no matter how bad I’ve become, for even Christ himself, never came to condemn me (John 3:17), though He is our Chief Judge (Psalm 96:13, Ezekiel 18:30, 1 Peter 1:17).

‘Do not judge or you too will be judged… you hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eyes, and then you will be able to see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eyes…’
Matthew 7:1-5

‘You therefore have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself… so when you, a mere man pass judgement on them and yet do the same things, do you think you would escape God’s judgement?…’
Romans 2:1-5

We are asked to ‘examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith. To test ourselves’ to realize Christ is in us (2 Corinthians 13:5). If Christ is in us, then we are a representation of Him here on earth. This implies that our actions as Christ-like people, Christians and God’s creation; should be in line with the Image and Person of Christ Jesus.

‘Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you would be forgiven’– Luke 6:37

‘For (even) God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world though him’- John 3:17

The concept of judging entails having a strong opinion about something- trying to evaluate that thing. To be able to accomplish this task one would need to be on the absolute- So as to gain total understanding of all perspectives and motive.

Now, because man is limited by reason of knowledge- only God is fit to judge the heart of man. However, man is allowed to judge the character of man, for by this; we are absolute by the word of God- the living word of God.
(1 Corinthians 6: 2, 4-5, 2: 15)

In doing the above, we judge (rebuke, correct) the sinfulness of man. We do not judge (condemn) the sinner. We put into perspective a careful and exact attitude of Christ (Romans 5:8). Every judgment a man makes must be backed-up by the word of God, because man judges based on preference, perception, mind-set and in totality; the knowledge he has acquired. This alone can be the foundation of all errors because like a writer puts it:

‘That you are strong in someone’s weaknesses, does not mean you are not weak in someone’s strength’– Double_ST *sst*

This is why God in His word asked us not to judge by human standards (John 8:15-18), and appearances (John 7:24, James 2:1-4). We are asked instead to be carefu,l for we judge unto the Lord (2 Chronicles 19:6). For this understanding to make meaning in our daily living, obedience to the word of God and principles is key and a necessity, as this unlocks its potentials (Zechariah 3:7, 1 King 3:9-13); for by ourselves, we can do nothing (John 5:30).

The place of judging people is in the hands of God- for he is all-knowing. We are admonished by Apostle Paul in Timothy to preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction (2 Timothy 4:2). Nowhere- nowhere in Scripture are we asked to judge (condemn) anyone!

Food for Thought-

‘The saint and the sinner- who is more likely to make heaven? If the Saint- who then is he, but one that was once a sinner. If this is true; what then makes you so sure that this sinner too won’t make it to heaven? Not as he is off-course, but as he would be when you correct and not condemn him; thus allowing God’s grace to work in Him’- Double_ST *sst*

They will sing before the Lord
for He comes
He comes to judge the world in righteousness
and the people in his truth- Psalms 96:13.

So if you want to judge me and you are not God- DON’T YOU DARE!!!

Feel free to correct me though… God Bless.

God Speaking

image

To whom do I give My inheritance?
When I can’t call you son…
Though you claimed to know Me,
All I can say is, “I never knew you”

Depart from me you worker of iniquity,
Though the world affirms you religious,
Doing all… Just so self be glorified,
When My glory is for Me and alone.

Yeah-
You cast out demons,
Your ministry is that of signs and wonders,
You go to church,
Your speech has allowed the Holy Spirit win souls,
You know scripture better than the pope,
You are a teacher of the law…

Yeah-
While your every good deed
might be a starting point to salvation
for your contacts, it’s but a reward for you.
Only in Jesus Himself, is your salvation,
And not what you “seemingly” do for Him.

… By saying, “I never knew you”
It implies you called me Lord,
But never made me yours.
You came to My works,
But never came to ME.
You met my Kingdom,
But settled in everything else I had to offer-

This are my words…
But only on the seat of judgment
They cannot be changed then,

But you still have TODAY!!!
Make your motive right…
Introduce Me to your heart…
Allow Me make it pure…
And you will be an evidence of grace!!!

Prostitution

image

                                                                                                 I became one- A Prostitute

…Evil desires…
…Passions of the flesh…
My lower nature,
Amonsgt they that had me…

My soul was panting,
I just couldn’t resist her”
Give it a try I thought!
It’s pleasure and ALMOST DONE…

Lust-
For a price of love,
I gave my beauty away;
Like a vegetable losses nutrients in a rinse…

Temptation isn’t overwhelming,
When it’s with the unloved;
Like Joseph with portiper’s wife.
“But when it comes to the one with whom you see a future,
I mean; the one your heart has already committed too,
Its most assuredly… not easy…”

…With this excuse, I fell-
I let lose my guard,
I became ONE, while becoming one flesh…
My licentiousness had me.
It was fun, I must confess,
Then it became AGAIN and AGAIN…

What’s painful is, I WAS a christian,
Flirting with every chance I got,
While remaining a brother/sister outwardly,
All the while thinking… with GRACE,
It’s just a normal thing,
More so, “we’ve got something going on”,
And God’s forgiveness shall abound.

Man/woman speaking…

“I’m only human-
I’ve tried to stay “single”; sorry “faithful”
But:

…(Her breast, fully grown;well-shaped and up to date,
His chest, giving me that soothing, comforting and safe feeling,
Her lower lips… My gosh!!!
His scent releasing dopamine smell; Oh my!)…”

…Had me;
they kept calling “just one more…”
…Just one more…
I wasn’t told it was,
“One more step closer to condemnation”.

Though I lost calibration with the Lord,
He didn’t leave without a fight.
For the joy set before me,
I was reminded, Honour and Righteousness…

This disease is no respecter of person,
Your immunoglobulin don’t count;
Call it whatever you will:
Fornication,  adultery, obscenity,
Pornography, concupiscence, rape,
Orgy, homosexuality or incest…
ALL STILL THE SAME;
She will kill you; not now, but in eternity-

God speaking…

“When you get in touch with me,
I do not spit your past all over you,
My time is better spent discussing the “PRESENT” “FUTURE”,
This nature is the sin you desired and picked,
Like any other;
I will forgive…
Just will, dear child, to come back home,
You tried on your own, remember?
But it was to no avail…
Just Come Back Home;
Like any other;
I’ll forgive and grant you peace”.

I will wait for you Dear Special One-
Don’t mistake it,
THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE
THROUGH GOD’s WALKING GRACE.
A conscious effort to let him lead over flesh…

Now with God,
I’ve become one- A PROSTITUTE
A Pure Righteous Obedient Special Temple,
In Truth’s Unique Total Existence…
If I will; to make meaning from spelling…

My past is over .
Thank you Jesus.
I’m walking in God’s grace,
By the leading of His Holy Spirit;
AND YOU TOO CERTAINLY CAN!!!

     This is dedicated to anyone out there, who is fighting with sexual temptations of all sorts, to that person that has lost hope, to you, who, up until now, wasn’t conceived sexual immorality is wrong, to them that see prostitution as a rescue home, to that person that wouldn’t watch porn, but keeps tab with the current immoralities in our today’s bestsellers. IT IS DEDICATED TO YOU WHO HAS FALLEN AND IS READY (or already has) TO RISE AGAIN… NB… Your prostitution might not be standing by the road waiting for the next hotel/motel that will witness your latest skills; this context defines prostitution with respect to YOUR sexual impurity.
